Other Artists
christinaweber.com Christina is a local art photographer offering candid, freestyle portraiture of children, people, and celebrations. Believing the best photographic moments happen during everyday events, she works on location--capturing her subjects being themselves. And she works with her clients in selecting their individualized assortment of prints. Still enamored with her 35mm camera, she prefers the depth and range of color and b&w film for her portrait photography.
lindawomack.com Linda Womack is an encaustic artist and art instructor. What is encaustic painting? It's an ancient technique that involves mixing pigments and resin with molten beeswax. Applying multiple layers of wax gives the colors an amazing luster and translucency. Linda has written an excellent beginner's book on the subject, titled 'Embracing Encaustic'. Originally from Hawaii, she learned to appreciate the beauty of nature and express it through her work. Her work is shown nationally and she has been featured on Home & Garden Television's urban craft show, "That's Clever!"
